YOUR STUDIO | YOUR MOVEMENT | YOUR GOALS

ELDance is a place you can come to for no other reason than for you.

When Emily founded ELDance in 2017, classes were originally created for dancers training outside the North East who wanted a place to learn, stay focused and continue developing their skills. But over time, ELDance became something much more.

Emily began to notice something special. People who hadn't danced since they were 10, 16, 20 and beyond were finding their way back to something they had once loved. They wanted to dance again, try something new and rediscover a part of themselves they thought they'd left behind.

Sunderland needed a place for adult dancers — a place where they could learn, grow and enjoy dance on their own terms. For almost eight years, ELDance has been that place.

Whether you have a favourite style you've always wanted to try, are returning to dance after years away, or simply fancy stepping outside your comfort zone, there's a place for you here.

ELDance is a safe space to experiment, make mistakes, celebrate successes and discover what you're capable of.There's no pressure to be perfect, no expectation to have it all figured out and no reason to compare your journey to anyone else's.

Your goals are your goals, no matter how big or small. Emily and the ELDance team are here to support you, encourage you and help you get the most out of every class.

So, why ELDance? Well, why not? Dance can be about more than steps and technique. It can be about confidence, connection, freedom and doing something just for yourself.

Emily and the ELDance team are passionate about what they do, the people who walk through their doors and what each person hopes to gain from their experience.
